Neighborhood Nourish was built by Timothy J. Mahoney with one goal in mind: making it easier for people in New Jersey to find the food resources they need, close to home.

Timothy spent 15 years as a chef, and his culinary journey began at Elijah's Promise in New Brunswick, NJ — a renowned soup kitchen that pairs a culinary school with a community dining room, training students while feeding neighbors in need. That experience left a lasting impression.

This site is an extension of that mission. By bringing together food pantries, hot meal programs, and regional food banks across all 21 New Jersey counties into one searchable directory, Neighborhood Nourish helps connect people with the resources closest to them — quickly and without barriers.
